I've been debating since yesterday to post this, but the last time this happened it really helped.

Some of you may know that a few years ago my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. They caught it early, she went through chemo, lost all her hair and was sick because of it, but survived.

Yesterday she called to tell me they found another lump in the opposite breast.

She said the doctors don't know if it's cancerous, but it is a mass, and they're going to watch it for about 3 months.

I really don't want my mom to have to go through what she went through last time.

She does too many things for people, and is too good of a person to have to go through this, let alone go through it twice.

In other news she goes in for her weight loss surgery/ gastric bypass surgery on september 11th (as creepy as that is on that specific date).
I'm excited that she'll be losing the weight because it will only help her selfesteem, diabetes, and over all health and longevity.

A lot of you don't know her, but lately she's taken quite a liking to a lot of you whether you know it or not. She reads a lot of your journals, and always asks about you. She told me, "You've made really amazing friends out there Richard. I was worried about you when you first got there, but you have so many people looking out for you."

Keep her in your thoughts for me.
