[Mmm Boston]
Dec. 6th, 2004 06:51 pmI'm not a big fan of the cold, but Boston is such a beautiful city.
I went up to Boston on Friday to sleep over my friend Jess's apartment and have a mutual birthday bash. We started off the night making spinach and artichoke dip.
But we didn't realize the recipe was from California Pizza Kitchen so it was for like a MILLION people.
Well we did a lot of damage to the VAT of dip and Jess and our friends did some serious drinking. My Ginger ale and cranberry was getting me in the party mood, so we all got dressed up and went to MY FIRST STRAIGHT CLUB..."Techila Rain."
SO MANY HOT GUYS THERE ALL NOT ON MY TEAM!
I mean I am no longer single, and am completely happy not being single. But it was frustrating for the sheer fact that all the guys there looked like football/rugby players, and I kept saying to myself, "They need to come to my side of the fence."
I wanted to find the one gay guy there, and see if he looked as uncomfortable as me.
Then the main event.
I stood front row center for...
The Wet T-Shirt Contest.
SO awful.
Well we left and went back home and ate and drank a little more and then I passed out in a sleeping bag on a cot.
I SLEPT TILL 5:00pm! WHAT?!?!
Something about being cocooned in a warm sleeping bag, in dreary dark boston, I just kept waking up, not being able to move, and then falling back to sleep.
Well I had a blast hanging out with Jess and her friends. Boston has a great night life, maybe someday I'll see the gay scene there.
