What a short/long week....
Oct. 23rd, 2005 02:03 pmI think now that I am an adult, and I have an adult work schedule, my body is revolting.
Ok so not really REVOLTING, but it's just not used to it yet.
College schedule means getting up around lunch time, going to classes, doing stuff at night, and then training your body to stay up till the wee hours of the morning doing homework, then repeat.
Adult life is away different. Getting up @ 7:30am every morning is killing me.
Now before all of you, at a blinding speed, click COMMENT and say "BAH! THAT'S NOT EARLY! WELL I GET UP AT BLAHBLAH OCLOCK EVERYMORNIGNGOjfdgfdjghnflkjgn!"
Well I don't. :)
I am a night person.
But for my hour and a half commute into the city, I have to be out of the house around 8:15am to be @ work around 9:30ish 10. Then I am at work all day until around 6:30/7:30pm....I walk back to bart for 8:00, get to Albany @ 9....then walk home and arrive around 9:30pm.
About an hour or two on the computer and then I FORCE myself to sleep. Only to repeat the next morning.
The week goes by SO fast surprisingly. My hypothesis is that because for so long I have based my days on how many DIFFERENT things I accomplish, now that I am only doing 2 things a day (commute and work) my days melt together and before I know it it's the weekend.
Of course that means the weekends are over in a blink.
At school there were no classes on Fridays. Thursday night has always been the start of the weekend for me.
So long college life, so long care free days with nothing to do.
Hello adulthood. Thanks for bringing the suck. ;)
