I just woke up.


Lets do a recap shall we?


Saturday afternoon I had a cuddle date with a very handsome out of towner who was a joy to hang out with and GORGEOUS to boot.  We watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (the new one). It was ok, we both agreed it was tolorable but shouldn't even be in the same category as the original.  The oompa loompa sequences were too long and everytime they happened I just wished they'd get on with the story.

We snuggled all day and that night a bunch of us had a BBQ in honor of me being here for a year (thanks guys! The Ribs were DELICIOUS!)

The out of towner and I kept sneaking off to go snuggle some more throughout the party.  Lately I have just given into being picky and wanting more, and it was nice to have those butterfly feelings in my stomach again.  It's been since february since that happened.  Unfortunately there is a lot of drama surrounding him and my friends, and hopefully it will be worked out because all things aside he is a joy to hang out with.  And I hope nobody's feelings were hurt because he was VERY popular during his visit here (I mean he's gorgeous with a personality to match, come on!) and I totally stole him the last few days he was here.

Sunday we met up again, and the two of us and Drew and Mike (non-ljers...do they count? ;)  went to the Sutro Baths to do a little hiking.  I've been sick recently, so my physical energy level has been very low, but I tell you, watching his calves (which are as big as my face) walk in front of me, not to mention he mooned me every 5 minutes, DEFINETLY kept me going. I made it up hills I didn't even realize I was walking up.

We all went out to The Citrus Club in the Haight which was DELICIOUS as usual, and then went back to Mikes.  More snuggling ensued and some making out :)
 
It was hard to say goodbye because although he had been here for over a week, we didn't really get to know each other until the past 2 days.  I wanted more time with him but it just wasn't so.  I did that thing I wrote about to him in my last post and then left.

He'll be back :)

Monday I got to work @ 9:30am and left finally @ 2am.  There was a big deadline for a project that I'll finally be able to talk about this thursday after it launches.  5 day turn around for a pretty complex animation.

Tuesday I got into work @ 9:30 and I got home THIS MORNING @ 9:00am.  We all pulled an all-nighter, but got everything done.

I'm off to go to the MovieBears and see Hollywoodland.  Hopefully I don't fall asleep during it.

This just in from Momshapedbox:

Hi Richard,  wed night 5pm, just got home from the hospital.  Surgery monday went fine.  they were able to to the lap band procedure.  Because of all the scar tissue from gallbladder surgery 20 yrs ago he had more work to do.  had a little more bleeding so had to stay an extra day for a unit of blood.  Feeling sore as expected but more energy after the transfusion. they held off as long as they could checking my hematacit every 4 hrs but by 4am today they couldnt let it go any lower. Normal value female 37-44. mine was 30, 28, then 26, then23.6 and falling.  good call by the nurse as she thought i looked too pale and pressure was only 80/50. glad they called the doc at 4am and he said get the procedure rolling for blood.  So I had a blood transfusion. But it's over !!! good to be home.  Guys: thanks for all your well wishes.
