What a stressful week!

I almost had a few break downs (ask Dave, it wasn't pretty) but I made it through.

So not many people know this but I've been pretty sick for the last year (I hide it well, and being around friends helps me forget about it). For some reason my stomach and intestines really hate me and the doctors can't figure out what it is (you may find this hard to believe, but it's really effected my energy level). All the simple tests have come back fine so now the more invasive tests will probably start.

I also have this weird throat thing (for the past 3 months). I'll be the first to admit I have a horrible gag reflex (SO jealous of all those "I lost my gag reflex a looooong time ago girl!!" bears). But for the past 3 months it been horrible, where I'll be walking and out of no where my mouth will go dry and I'll gag. And I'll keep gagging until I drink something and my stomach calms down.

I can't walk anywhere with out a bottle of water with me. Sometimes I can barely make through a full sentance without having to take a sip. It sucks.

I had to work really late on Wednesday night, and then got up @ 6am to go my Radiology appointment. They made me swallow Borium under an xray to see if they could see what's wrong with my throat. I swallowed 3 full cups of that chalky grossness but they couldn't find anything wrong.

Usually I'd rejoice at a clean bill of health, but in this case I really wanted them to point to the video of my throat, and say "Ah HA! There's the problem."

Now apparently they are going to go up my nose and look down my throat.

Say what you want about how great it is to not have a gag reflex for *cough*certain things....but I'd settle for just being able to walk down the street without gagging.

Anyways, that's my story.
It's not the most pleasant of things, actually kind of embarressing. But it's been weighing EXTREMELY heavily on my mind lately because it effects so much of my everyday life.
