I think I want a pair of glasses like these....not sure.
Anywho...
I'm REALLY due for an update. I have been LJ slacking SO hard lately, only reading but not posting. Bad richard BAD! *slaps hand*
First of all I am REALLY in need of a raise at work. I don't get paid nearly what I deserve and that is supposed to change after the new year. We'll see if it does (I really hope it does because I love my job and my company). I'm going to be on the EXTRA FIRM BUDGET (aka the hamburger helper diet/taqueria diet) for the next 15 days until my next paycheck. Between half of this months rent, Student Loan payment, and my flight home for the holidays, I basically spent my entire paycheck in one swoop.
Ugh.
One day money won't be such an issue and I won't have to live paycheck to paycheck.
Hopefully I'll be getting some birthday money from reletives soon, but I doubt it.
Wait...Birthday money you say? Does that mean your birthday is fast approaching??? *he says to himself*
YES! YES IT IS!
November 29th! I'm turning 40*!!
*24
And as long as I don't choke on a piece of spinach in public again it will be a step up. (see last years birthday post here)
I'm pretty optimistic about my birthday this year so hopefully it will be fun.
This past weekend I flew to Las Vegas to DJ with

Arrived friday night and the rest was a blur. The party had a great vibe, high energy, and packed full of friends. Did a little gogo dancing (who knew I looked good in a sailor hat, and not much else), DJed for a few hours, and then proceeded to dance and go crazy with the kuma kids.
Having never been to Vegas we did some sight seeing, but next time I think I'm going to concentrate on just hanging out with friends. Casino's are cool for the first 10 minutes of the trip, and with no money for show's, time was wasted just walking around.
I'll be back there again soon. And next time, Celine Dion will be mine.
