showmethedoll's LJ:
"Merry Kris Kristofferson, Happy Chaka Khanika, Happy Michelle Kwanza and Joyeux Noel Coward. Happy Billie and Jennifer Holidays. Cher the Love. Piece of ass be with you."
Tonight is the Krolewicz family Christmas Eve tradition of having dinner at my crazy Polish Babci's house (Xmas day dinner is at our house). Usually my mom, my dad (it's his side of the family), my sister and I, all go over around 7, we are told how fat each of us has gotten, how much she hates my beard and how I should shave it immediately, if I have a girlfriend yet (which she surprisingly pronounces like "gay-Friend" with her polish accent), how I am a failure at life if I don't get one, how my sister really shouldn't get married because men are horrible but if she doesn't get married how much of a disgrace she would be, and how happy, sad, and mad she is that our Dzodzi (grandfather in polish) is no longer living.
She's very judgemental and very bitter.
Well I just found out that my sister is joining her fiance Bill to go have dinner with HIS grandparents tonight, LEAVING ME ALL ALONE AND VULNERABLE TO MY BABCI'S VERBAL ATTACKS!
In a room with my babci, my mom and dad, my aunt and uncle, and my dads cousin Lucy, and me, I will be the only young person, and the only person there not seen in a while placing me at the center of conversation.
Ugh.
My mom and I are going to protect each other and hide in the corner all night.
