Post-

momshapedbox returned back to CT yesterday morning after a weeks stay.
I dropped her off at the airport then proceeded to sleep for an extra 4.5 hours afterward. A weeks worth of having a guest/mother in town in combination with a HELLISH work week really caught up with me.

But I think I am all rested up (having spent today lounging on the computer) and ready for this upcoming crazy work week.

Thank you to all who made my mom's stay here so memorable for her! (and me!)
I can't even begin to explain how much fun she had meeting and spending time with all of you!

And a HUGE thanks go out to

dhbearguy who showed just how great a friend he is by spending the week as my Mom's roommate :)
You're like her favorite now!

To Bearshapedboyfriend (who was the best boyfriend a cub can have, and who my mom just LOVED),

castrowoof (who spent a day with her, got Manni-Peddi's, and got my mom to say "cock-sucker red")

fuzzygruf (who invited us to Gary-oke and showed my mom an SF experience that you can't get anywhere else),

telecommunicate (who had a lovely lunch with us),

kitchenbeard (who was able to squeeze in a coffee date),

bigreddee and

fredtheplumber (who made us a wonderful home cooked meal and sent my mom off with such a great night),

pup_ajax (who taught my mom all about pup play and the various accoutrement's that go along with it),

beg1n (who spent a lovely afternoon with us, and letting me play with his DS!),

bigredpaul (for the massage she just couldn't stop talking about!), and to all the LJers at the picnic who showed her how warm and loving San Francisco can be, I thank you all :)

She felt like LJ-royalty and you all treated her as such!
(which I am sure she will post all about!)

Before she left, she said to me (the abridged version), "I used to worry about you just a little bit, since you were so far away, but as I got to know all of your friends through LJ, and meeting everyone especially Dave and Phil, I don't worry about you anymore. You are in wonderful hands out here, and everyone looks out for you and make sure everything is alright. You've really found your place."

And it's true.
