Tracy Turnblad! You Hair Hopper!
Halloween (well, the gay saturday halloween knows as "It Wears Pumps in the Night") was so much fun this year! My Tracy Turnblad costume came out great! Didn't Phil do a great job on the wig? I should have taken a before picture of it, it was SO FLAT. Like flat. F.L.A.T. I was scared it was going to look horrible but he got to teasin', and spraying
Basket was pretty fun, although under-attended. Which was part unsurprising due to the Halloween event chaos of having a million new club nights going on, but also part surprising since not a single event was a Bear Event. I don't want to hear a single person whine about how there is nothing to do if you area bear and you want to dance!
Oh well, the food was good and the music was really fun!

After Basket we popped by the Castro real quick before heading home, just to see how it was. There weren't any streets blocked off, but there were plenty of people in fun costumes. I think this year it's good that the Castro is having a Halloween-Reset-button-pushing. It was too scary before.
The best part of dressing like Tracy was that EVERYONE knew who she was. They sang with me, they danced with me, and every drag queen and drag queen in training's eyes lit up when they walked by.
( A slightly NSFW picture of Tracy )
