The ugly party was a complete success!!!

I have to spend today working, but I wanted to quickly post about how much I LOVED MY BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!


I had a hellish day at work friday, just what I didn't want before a big party but I got through the day and headed to my house.

I was greeted at the front entrance to our apartment with a life-size printout of me as Tracy Turnblad with a "It's a GIRL!" banner hanging above it.

dhbearguy was off to a great start! I guess it serves me right for doing it to him the year before at his birthday party.




Everyone got there around 7:30 which was great. It got the party started quickly. Mattacuda styled me and got me to look as ugly as I did. THANK YOU MATT!!!

Everyone outdid themselves, ESPECIALLY the people who said "I don't do ugly. Sorry."

out of all the people that made it (50+ I believe) I think 3 weren't in costume.

THAT IS A LOT OF UGLY!!!

And thanks to all of you who watched the Web Broadcast of the party while it lasted!!! The txt messages you all sent me were HYSTERICAL!!!!

I just want to say how much this party meant to me, and how much my friends mean to me. Not many people can get a room FULL of their friends, let alone dressed up as spectacularly as they all were.
