Got put on a design project for BeePee Gasoleeeen (don't want it cached by google) for an animatic (a moving storyboard to give an idea of the story and the timing) that they will test with audiences, and then if tested well turn into a spot like this:
( A little more explaination )
I got this assignment on Thursday for a rush job to do an animatic for BP so they could test it. Cool. I've already done 3 for them already so I figured it would be easy.
Wrong.
The animatics previously were done after weeks and weeks of character designs, character re-designs, background design, and keyframe composition design. After all that THEN it was all animated.
Thursday, Friday, Monday, and Tuesday, I did ALL that AND animation for a MUCH more complicated spot.
SO. TIRED.
My brain is fried but the animated blew the client away and went above and beyond what they expected.
Hopefully it will help it test well so they need someone to actually make the 3D commercial.
Now where could they find people to do that?
Oh I know! The people that kicked ass at the OTHER four 3D commercials for them!!! That's WHO!
Fingers crossed. All I know is it was a blast, although crazy hard to do all of it myself.
