New Art + Bearracuda Seattle

Just finished another piece of art that may be included in an art show that has no official date yet. I've been trying to create some new pieces just for my own sanity and to balance out work work, and personal work. I've let me imagination and creativity deplete lately and I think the trick to getting it back in shape is to spend more time on personal pieces.


In other news:

Bearracuda Seattle was a total blast! SO many hot guys, great friends, and dancing bears all having a great time! At the risk of sounding dirty*, Tag Teaming with Freddy King of Pants/seattlewolf is so much fun! We wanted to mix it up a little more than usual so we both did a short 1.5hr set each, and then another hour each afterward. It seemed to really work well in Seattle and caused a lot more people to stay a little later. Freddy and I have very different styles of music but I think they really go very well together....at least it seemed that way judging from the crowd.

Next Bearracuda Seattle is September 12th! I won't be DJing but I am going to still fly and help Matt out.

I took a few photos so I'll post some when I upload them to my computer.


*A risk I am ALWAYS willing to take!

Cliff is awesome.

This is my sorta* coworker Cliff. He's awesome. He's also super talented! He's the unfortunate sole to be the closest to me when my SB-600 Flash for my DSLR, for which I needed to try out RIGHT AWAY!




*Sorta because he's not aaaactually a Mekanism employee like me. His 3D animation company, Juicebox Animation, shares the first floor of our building with our edit suites, and is sometimes employed BY us when we need 3D stuff.
