So.... Rent was amazing.

And I cried a lot, which got me thinking, since it's Thanksgiving officially, about all the things I am thankful for.
Which caused me to cry more.
Luckily I had [livejournal.com profile] castrowoof's shoulder on standby to cry on since he sat next to me, since Dave sat with his t-r-a-d-e after promising I could use his tshirt as a tissue. *WINK*

(glad I could help out and be your ticket bitch [livejournal.com profile] dhbearguy!)

This year I am thankful for so many things, just thinking about them overwhelms me.
But I'll give it a shot.

-Graduating college and finishing up the biggest journey in my life to date....16 years of school.
-My mom being a breast cancer SURVIVOR
-My uncle giving me the opportunity to live with him rent free so that I can get on my feet
-To Chris for giving me the affection and the emotion support I desperately needed, fully knowing I had to move and unfortunately break his heart
-To my sister who even though we've had our differences, still is one my biggest idols and inspiration.
-I'm thankful for my health
-That I have the ability to laugh and smile
-That even though I've been hurt in the past, in which seemed like a new, different, and more interesting way than the last, I am still not jaded and haven't given up.
-For the group of friends I had in Savannah, that continually made me want to grow and better myself. I love you "superfriends."
-My best friend Robert, who even though he lives on the other side of the country, STILL manages to keep up with my life and fix me when I break.
-To Emily, who let me experience one of my most cherished memories in my life so far, a one month roadtrip across the country. Those memories will be with me forever.
-To my Dad, who doesn't accept me, or my "lifestyle," but chooses to look past that and not let it stop him from loving me.
-To Drew, who gladly accepted the mother role I so badly needed when I moved here. I couldn't have done half the things, or met half the people, or done half the people I have if it wasn't for you. Thanks Grill!
-And last but certainly not least, to all the people here in San Francisco that I have had the pleasure to meet these last 3 months. It felt like I had been here only one week, and my life was instantly filled with warm smiles, warm hugs, and warm hearts. You bears are some of the most interesting people I've encountered; the way you accepted me, helped me through various problems, made sure that my transition to SF was smooth and that I had everything I needed to settle in; for that I am truely greatful.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. This isn't a MEME, but I encourage everyone to post all the things they are thankful for. It really feels good to mentally go over everything so that it is all fresh.
