Nov. 18th, 2005 11:53 amHe told me to be comfortable and to be myself and I was worried I wouldn't be able to do that.
What I didn't realize is that around him, I have no choice but to be myself and be extremely relaxed and comfortable. It's just so effortless to be around him.
I left work @ around 5:30 so that I could meet him at his house at 6ish. We both weren't really hungry yet so we just sat and talked for a while.
A while being 2 hours. I just got lost in conversation and then realized it was already 8oclock and we hadn't eaten yet. He didn't tell me he skipped lunch either.
We left his apartment and decided that Sushi sounded amazing. And it really was. We ordered a feast of rolls and did a pretty good job at demolishing the selection. God I love finally going on dates with guys who aren't afraid to eat in front of people.
We talked and talked all throughout dinner, and stuck around after dessert and talked some more.
I was kind of afraid that since I spent all night saturday talking about our families, and past boyfriends, and the like that we wouldn't have anything left to talk about.
There wasn't an awkward silence all night. But it wasn't a "gotta keep talking to fill the void can'tstoptalkingcan'tleavesilence" kind of thing.
We left the resturant and headed back to his place. We got there, took off our shoes and continued talking, but most importantly continued laughing. He is hysterical, and humor is SO sexy to me.
I layed down with my head in his lap and just laughed at all the funny stories he has. Like usual, time just melted away and it was past 1:30am and I had missed BART. So I asked to crash there, and he said sure. We stripped down to our underwear, talked a little more while cuddling under the blankets, and we promptly passed out.
I slept so GOOD! It's a rare occasion I get to wake up next to someone, let alone someone holding me and vice versa.
All in all a really great date :)
Ok enough gushing. I have to resume acting non-chalant and acting like I'm not wearing his shirt and it doesn't smell like him, which is making me not concentrate on work all.
HARRY POTTER TONIGHT!!!!!!!
